An ex-NS dispatcher sent Dr. Fred Riply this photo of the New River bridge (built by SOU 1962-63), which he took on his reconnoiter. The short line for which the old bridge was kept open for, for a few years anyway, was the Brimstone RR. All of this is the vicinity of Helenwood and Robbins, TN (between Oneida and Harriman).
