As a follow up to our recent “NRHS BULLETIN”, Vol. 79, No.3 received in August which was totally about the building of the first transcontinental railroad From Omaha, Nebraska to Sacramento, Ca., I had just visited the site on July 30th. I encourage all members to visit if you are ever near the historic site. There is a nice new building and more to see there than I expected at this National Historic Site.
